This Privacy Policy explains how Fammetry ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data. Fammetry is operated by Specosoft Limited (UK company number 12426457).

1. What Data We Collect

Account data: Email address and encrypted password when you create an account.

Household data: Family member names, avatars, dates of birth (optional), and role.

Usage data: Tasks, chores, grocery items, calendar events and notifications you create.

Device data: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and operate the Fammetry service, sync your household data, send in-app notifications, and maintain security. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your data to any third party.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) on AWS EU West infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We implement Row Level Security ensuring each household's data is strictly isolated.

4. Children's Privacy

Children do not create accounts directly — their profiles are created and managed by the household administrator (parent/guardian). Child profile data is never shared with third parties or used for marketing.

5. Your Rights (UK/EU GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. To exercise your rights or request deletion, contact us at hello@fammetry.com. You can also delete your account directly from the app at any time.

6. Cookies

Fammetry uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

7. ICO Registration

Specosoft Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ICO:00014202616. You can verify this at ico.org.uk.

These Terms govern your access to and use of Fammetry's services at fammetry.app and fammetry.com. By using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Fammetry is operated by Specosoft Limited (UK company number 12426457).

1. Acceptance

By using Fammetry, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind all household members to these Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use Fammetry only for personal, non-commercial household use. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, reverse engineer the service, or violate any applicable laws.

3. Children

You are responsible for supervising your children's use of the service and confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of any child profiles you create.

4. Subscription & Payment

Fammetry offers a 30-day free trial (no credit card required). After the trial, a paid subscription is required. Pricing is shown at fammetry.com. You may cancel at any time. Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Intellectual Property

The service and all content are owned by Fammetry/Specosoft Limited. You retain ownership of content you create within the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fammetry shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the preceding 12 months (or £50 if no payments made).

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. We will process deletions immediately.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
